Disney’s Frozen

  1. Although in the movie it is about a romantic love, I think the song “Fixer Upper” works as theology to: We are simultaneously fixed up by God’s love (Saint) and fixer upper (Sinner).  See how I used this in a sermon about John 3:16-17.
  2. Elsa as Woman at the Well (John 4:5-42)
    • The woman at the well goes to the well in the middle of the day in order to avoid human interaction because of who she is.
      • In the end, Jesus sees who for exactly who she is, and she goes on to evangelize to a whole community.
    • Elsa locks herself away, covers up with gloves, and avoids human contact to hide who she is.
      • In the end, after making a huge snowy mess, Elsa’s true powers are exposed, but she goes to be a great queen and sister.
